im pretty sure my fuel pump gave out on me and b4 i dig in to it just wanted to know if i had to drop the tank or is it under the rear seat..its a 90 ls teg.thanx for any responses

 

Check for volts to the pump for the second or two that the CEL is on when the key is first turned to run. If nothing, the main relay may be your problem. Otherwise, remove the back seat. Saucer shaped cover on the tank. No smoking or sparks, please.

 

Make sure you open the gas tank to relieve the pressure before you take the pump out
