usually all accessories work until you open the door.

I can roll the windows up and down with my key out until i open the door.

I believe there is a thirty-fourty five second delay period where all accessories work.

the only things that should function with key out position (within 45 secs) are the 2 front windows and the moonroof. however, once the door is opened, this is seized.

My 93 did this two weeks ago....right before I had to replace my ignition switch. It was the damndest thing cuz I got home and shut off my car, and the next morning my battery was completely dead.

Gen 4's do it too. When I take the key out of the ignition I can still open and close windows/sunroof until I open a door. The delay is definitely longer than 30 something seconds too. It's much more along the lines of multiple minutes, trust me.

Maybe this is specific to certain regions like canadian version, since my 2001 USDM auto doesnt have it. I want it! I want heated seats too like the canadian model

4th gen accord owners manual lists 15 minutes or until the door is opened, whichever occurs first disables using the windows, read your owners manuals people
