will a hydro clutch work for a cable
Sweeet so the disk and pressure plate for a hydro tranny will work in a cable fine? So would you buy the clutch allignment tool for a cable tranny also along with the throw out bearing and everything will be ok? Im also wondering because I can get an act disk and pressure plate from a friend cheap.
NOPE! I dont think so, the spline on a cable trans is smaller than one on a hydro,
thats why they sell 90-93 integra clutches seprate from 94+
i know this cus i bought a clutch that was ment for a hydro trans for my 1st gen b16a swap and was very disapointed when it didnt fit.

alright time for some proper info the pressure plate is the same, the thowout bearing is different, the disc will work for ys1 92-93 trans, 90-91 trans need a different disc, they are not the same it has a smaller splined center

This guy is right, but I will go more into detail.
All B-series trannys from 92+up will use the CLUTCH DISC with the Bigger spline.
The 90-91 B-series trannys will use the CLUTCH DISC with the smaller spline, because they have a smaller input shaft.
All B-series Pressure Plates will be the same no matter if its CABLE or Hydro.
ThrowOut Bearings will be different between a CABLE tranny and a HYDRO tranny.
It amazes me to see how much MisInformation is spread on Honda-Tech! And then on top of that, you have people re-posting or agreeing to the wrong information misleading even more people!
