Default Clutches and Transmissions

Ok, so I don't remember so I'm asking. I have a hydro transmission and I'm looking at picking up a cheap clutch that was barley used on a cable transmission. So my question would be would that clutch that was used on a cable transmission work on a hydro transmission? Help asap would be much appricated.

Thanks

It's B series. I got the anwser though. I'd need a new disk, release bearing and alignment tool. Someone correct me if I am wrong?

Cable and hydro B series clutches are different, although flywheels are interchangable. As such, either cable or hydro pressure plates will bolt up, but I'm unsure if a hydro disc will work with a cable pressure plate and vice versa. If you need to get a new disc, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and allignment tool, why not just get anwhole new clutch kit?

Hmmm, I was told by ACT that it would work as long as I got a new disk, release bearing and alignment tool (which is like $200 total). The reason why is because I got screw over on my taxes and I need a clutch before I can drive my car. I was going to get a brad new Tilton full assembly.

It depends on the year of the transmissions apparently.
