whats better the the vtec zc or the d16?
Neither. The have just about the same set up so the better deal per $$$/mileage is the better way of going.
You feel more power out of a ZC/D16 than the D15B (which everyone is one some kick for). The D15B only really makes the correct power when mated up with the correct proper JDM D15B ECU -which most people just us a P28 which has different curves.

Get a d16z6 with your stock si tranny and convert to obd1 and run a p28..D16z6 is basically the same as a sohc vtec zc..And its cheaper and easy to find everywhere..
What motor do you have now? Im assuming dohc zc.?

just keep what you have unless it isn't running or something... neither of your choices will make much more power or have any more potential than what you've already got.
