I gotta gsr motor.. i got a gsr block with a civic type r head.. i redo everything.. new piston valve, valve stem. piston ring, rod, ro bear, main seal. and all the gasket.. everything new on the motor.. and when i go to start the car.. it blow out alot of smoke. and burn the oil like nothing in like 2 days... when i drive it and beat on it, it goes aways.. and when i stop it take about a min to smoke out alot again.. anyone got a clue that can help me fix the problem
you are probably burning coolant , a gasket is f@#$ed up throttle body or head gasket would be my guess, or your head or deck is warped good luck
there is no "break in period" when you assembly the motor all clearances should be precise only thing you have to do is seat the rings ....which could be the issue
