Hi I am new, from the UK.

I have a D16A9 (non cat - 130bhp fuel injection model) CRX

I have had trouble stalling, after say 10-30mins of driving and won't restart straight away, only after 5-10mins will it restart!!!! Also erratic rev counter before it stalls!!!!

Does anyone have an idea what is wrong???

I am thinking the ignitor module??? Or Main relay! Just asking for help as I know ignitor's aren't cheap for what they are. Checked ECU and throwing up code 15 = Ignition Output Signal missing or defective ignition output signal !

Sounds like the ignitor Sir..
Or possibly something else in the distributor..
Check for spark..The Main relay controls fuel..

 

I have already replaced HT leads, Spark plugs, dristributor cap and rotor arm!!!! still no luck, reset ecu, but fault code came up again after a 100 miles and a stall!

I only mentioned the main relay as I have heard that it causes similar problems as a faulty ignitor!!!

Should I replace the ignitor, wouldn't bother asking but it is like a $100(£65). so want to be sure before I buy the new part!!! Pretty sure it isn't the coil as it only cuts out after 20+mins!!! getting to hot?
