Header is going on a 97 del sol sohc Vtec. I installed a new catback at the same time. Using the stock cat. I was barely able to get everything bolted together. But this caused my exhaust pipe to be in contact with the rear stock swaybar and all the hangers were being pulled forward really strained. My down stream oxygen wouldn't reach to bolt in the cat. I made it fit but this caused the rubber grommet to be pulled loose from underneath the car.
The catback was a 2.25 from Streetimports. The catback hangs low in back at the bend, and is angles up where it connects to the cat. It fits (not the best in my book) but I don't believe it's the problem.
Anyone else have this problem?
