is that right... ?? lol, no, i mean beyond that, it seems, looks like mine are a little dim even when turned all the way up... i'm talking about adding a special light or doing something behind the cluster that will brighten everything

I doubt it. You might want to change the bulbs they might be on there way out.

My old 96 GS-R was white in color, well to me it looks kinda white with a hint of Green but maybe I'm just color blind, but they sure as hell aren't blue.

when you pull the bulbs out, they put blue condom like film (lol) over the light bulbs. this gives them (somehow) a "whiter" output. i took the condoms off thinking it'd be brighter..but the light just has a hint of amberish orange tint..it's kind of offwhite really. in no way is it even remotely close to the amber of the itr.
and yes i've had both lol
