I'm getting a D16z6 swap from someone and wondering what exactly its worth.
Motor has 103,000, 5 spd trans, axles, wiring harness, p28 and mounts. If anybody knows a rough idea of what this would sell for I'd appreciate it. Motor runs great no grinds in the trans.

im talking about the jdm d15 vtec it has 130hp

d15b here. love it, also came with less k's on it.

depending on condition around 4-500

 

I'm picking up a full z6 minues ecu for 325..I think I'm getting an alright deal even though it has 140k.

 

rebuilt it lol, thats what i did pick up one with more miles get it for cheap and then use the extra cash to built

 

z6 are worth more than that, technically speaking.
a complete motor is 450
that has no ecu, axles, harness, factor all that in, you will know its worth a complete swap around 800
look at what ias sells them for.
not cheap

 

thanks for the replies. helping a guy at work do a swap in his del sol and hes giving me the swap for the help. i already have a b16 so i going to be selling the complete swap. ill most likely be putting up a post in the classifieds by next week but if anyone is interested you can pm me. thanks again.

 

but also if you get a d15b, there is no aftermarket support (or you have to find what parts from other d series fit it). going along that line if the engine blows finding replacement parts is a d series treasure hunt. with the z6 its easy to find parts (after market or stock). go with the z6

 

i paid noting for mine and i got a d16y7 parts engine who says high schools a waste of time? i got 2 free d-series engines and im getting a b16 and a f22 and maybe a cvcc
