So heres the deal everyone, I had an ls cluster in the car and it worked fine. But after awhile the fitment really got to me so I decided to put the stock one back in.

So I wired up everything and now the primary gauges do not work (Tach, Fuel, Temp, Speedo). Everything on the B plug works and almost everything on the A plug works (except the ones I just named).

Now iv checked my fuses, and right now im just stumped. It wouldnt bother me so much but today I was going to head to my friends fabrication shop to finish up my DP and other turbo components.

If someone could point me in the right directions or give me some positive insight it would be greaty appreciated.

 

Someone help me figure this out.

So, what exactly did you do when you swapped back in the stock gauge cluster?

Did you re-solder, use quick-connects, etc...

Perhaps those four connections are incomplete?

 

I'm still thinking that your power wire and/or ground wire to the cluster isn't hooked up.

I repinned them using the stock pins, but I used a little solder at the connections.

I used the Black (ground wire) on the B-Plug for my test light, im also pretty sure that the power wire is working because it worked with the test light.

 

I just made sure I had power/ground and I do indeed have both.

I think what it might be is the pins not making a connection.

I will try that tomorrow, I can see my breathe outside...

 

gots to be the pins or conectors... maybe loose or corroded if you had them sittin around for a while??
