Default wired up gsr cluster into eg, now problems

well i wired it up last night, and finished it today, i ended up using 2 different wiring guides online, and the only problem i am having now is that when i use the turn signals or flash my high beams the whole gauge cluster jumps up and down, im thinking it is the ground but i cant figure it out, any help is appreciated

it is your ground wire.i did the same install on my ek and it turned out to be the ground.the fuel and temp guage is connected by the ground thats why everything in ur guage is haywire.try doing trial and error by pinning it on all the empty slots good luck!!!!

Not to highjack the thread, but it's related I feel. Could someone post a pic of a GSR cluster in an EG please? Thanks in advance.

i think someone should post a pic of what the wire harness looks like after it is done correctly... that would make it so easy for everyone else..
my cluster did the same thing.. but vtec worked for me.. only thing that was weird was when i turned on the high beams only one lit up.. and when you say check the ground were exactly am i sposed to look?
thanks

ok, i got everything wired up, problem with the temp gauge is that the temp gauge and the low fuel wires were different, so i put the temp in the right place, now i have a blown fuse? but i cant figure it out, only the right side of the cluster works... and i have no idea which fuse or where its blown? any help asap is appreciated, i think im gonna do a write up on this, maybe its because i have a 2001 cluster???

well i finally got everything wired up, and working ... later on this week i will do a write up on it and post it up, also if anyone is readin this and plans on doing it, plan on repinning the plugs you get unless there the plugs that came with the cluster, i had an 01 cluster and 98 plugs so things were a bit different
