Default Headlight help!

hey, quick part of the story, got some headlights, they fog after being washed, thinking of resealing them with silicon. should i wait till they unfog? or will they unfog when they're sealed? just wanna know, because its really annoying lol.

or how about like... when the light is somewhat dull...? like the housing.. is there a way to make it like new.. other than purchasing a new headlight?

They are vented so you can reseal them anytime!
Just make sure the sealing surfaces are dry before you put them back together!

Quick tip that I've read about but never had to try --

You know those little silica gel packets that you get with a new pair of shoes? Stick one of those in a turn signal socket (or any easily accessible bulb socket) overnight. Don't push it all the way in, of course -- just pack the hole shut. It should absorb enough moisture to prevent further fogging.

Do this after you try re-sealing the housings and after the sealant dries completely.
