Is a lsd tranny supposed to burn out 2 tires

Default Is a lsd tranny supposed to burn out 2 tires

I have a B18C with a Y1 transmission are both tires supposed to spin and can someone explain briefly what a LSD does thanks

if your transmission has LSD (limited slip differential) then yes, both tires should spin during a burnout. all it does is lock your differential, the difference between that and a transmission without limited slip is that during a turn, both tires will spin at the same speed (with LSD) as opposed to a tranny without LSD, where the inner tire would spin faster during a turn, outer tire spinning slower.

let me also add that both tires would be receiving the same amount of torque at all times
