Axels were clicking a bit in for the last couple days, and in turns the steering wheel would jump around. The clutch pedal has been fading for the past couple days, the engagement has just been getting further down, and before it engages there is no feeling, as in i can push it down to the engagement point freely with my hand and it won't come back up, but after driving for a little some of the engagement distance would come back. After letting the car sit over night for a day, the prsssure was gone compleatly, and i could push the pedal freely to the floor with my hand.

Tried to bleed it, didn't help
The fluid is at a good level
It starts but feels a tiny bit rougher than normal? I havn't tried to drive it

 

it can also b ur clutch slave clyinder located in front of ur block! it has a lil plastic/rubber push on it if fluid squirts out then forsure u need to change it! also whens the last time u replaced ur clutch??

 

try to bleed it and see what happens

The clicking in your turns is more than likely going to be your axles. Your boot is probably torn and half of the bearing missing. So just inspect your cv boots. As for your clutch I had the same problem. Feel the back of your clutch pedal, if there is fluid on it it is your clutch master cylinder. If you can't fix it now just keep adding fluid and dont let the resovoir go dry.

cv boots for the clicking. and he's prolly right i suffered all the symptons of what ur experiencing with ur clutch. and it was the slave was gone. do it quick because if it goes u could be lookin at more money in repairing.

 

No, fluid on the back of the pedal, cv boots are in perfect condition (but i'm sure one of the axels is going quick), so i'm guessing it's the slave cylinder. Thanks for all your help guys

is there lack of fluid in the master cylinder reservoir? If there is then you got a leak. Start looking for fluid coming out somewhere.

If there is enough fluid then it's got to be an internal leak, in most cases it's the master primary cup seal.


Usually masters blow out after like 100-120k miles, even faster if you got a perfomance clutch. Most of the time they start leaking out of the secondary cup seal and you get fluid all over the floor where the master goes into the passanger compartment. But primary seal blows out sometimes too. If it's a slave cylinder you would have fluid all over the rubber boot (it will only leak out, internal leaks can't happen on those).

 

the fluid seemed to be going some where within 4 months, i can't find where though

 

well usually if it only goes down a little it's fine (clutch wearing). But if its like empty after 2 days then yeah...
