If a turbo isnt getting enough oil will the shaft begin to have play?

Like the title says..
My reason for asking is because i bought a new turbo for my car and i have been drving it for about a couple days now and it has some play in it now and i was wondering could it be its not getting enough oil or what...

when you shift does it sound like a rooster. you could have alot of compressor surge. but about your question, i think shaft play is the last thing you have to worry about if you dont have enough oil. i may be wrong though
could be compressor surge killed it or you rturbo could be getting too MUCH oil (oil pressure too high) that could kick out the seals.
^^^define too high....perhaps like 40? 50? 60? 65? 85psi

Mine gets 85psi on cold starts until its up to operating temp. Don't care though (right now) because I'm buying a new turbo haha
