Default Eldebrock 70mm TB + Victor X intake QUESTION.

I have a Victor X Intake. I just ordered the 70mm TB - for honda / acura. I searched but could not find out if an adapter plate is needed? Does anyone konw this for fact?

Yep, pretty sure you need it unless you drill the manifold yourself..

my 70mm STR TB bolted straigh on i dont see why edelbrocs TB wouldnt bolt straight onto there IM.

The Edelbrock 70mm TB has a Mustang bolt pattern, it also has no port for the IACV. You need a spacer/adapter, part #38112.

Also you will have to change the TPS voltage range in the computer using something like Chrome, Uberdata, HonData or the AEM EMS.

I think my TPS worked right out of the box. It was a different plug, so I just cut it off and spliced it into the wiring harness, but I don't remember Jason having to adjust the EMS for it, although he may have.

Yea I run AEM EMS, so i'll just re-calibrate it. No biggie. Yea I was also looking at the plug and thinking" hrmm this isn't a honda plug. Its wierd because they advertised it as a honda throttle body. Go figure.
