Default engine choice

i own a 90 crx si

after i fix the current problems im planning on doing an engine swap

i cant decide between the b16b and the b18 itr

which would be better, or if theres something better than the both what should i get?

factor in that ill also be turboing whichever engine the following year

do a search. really it all depends how much money you got. the itr will be way faster than the b16 and its got more torque. i hope your rich if your gonna go turbo itr.

b18c5, I'd say, just got more potential, and I think the stock numbers are a bit better. w00t for displacement.

im completly new to the swap scene as well as b series engines

lots of money just to get the itr well for me atleast not to mention mounts and linkage obd conversion harness plus the turbo set up not to discurage you though. this might help you since you dont know much

discourage away, if you must
i want to know flat out what i should do
i can get everything i need to install the itr (minus turbo) for about 6k
should i forget the itr and step down to the regular type r engine?

btw no k20's too much time involved

only type R motors are the ITR and CTR.

*as far as B*

b18c5 hands down out of them.

b16+turbo=350whp on a good tune,for around 5k...total.

that one, its just drops 10 hp from the itr

i might just end up swapping to a d15b for the time being just for some vtec at a fairly cheap price
