How to install Boost Guage, Oil Pressure Gauge, Air/Fuel Gauge??????
Hello Guys, i'm new here and i'm just wondering if anyone in here have installed Boost, OIl, Air/Fuel gauges before can could show me how. Hope this will help with the instruction. My engine base includes: T3/T4 Turbonetic Garret, 38mm Wastegate, Greddy Type S BOV, 450cc Injectors, Intercooler. I would like to know the pressure of the Fuel and Oil to not overheat or flood my engine with fuel. If you have pictures, please post cause i'm a visual learner
. Thanks
. Thanks
First of all - give us some more info, like, what kind of guages (i.e.Autometer?), secondly, what type of oil guage (electrical of mechanical?). You do know that your air/fuel guage is just for show right? nice looking color leds, etc.....If you want a "real time" air/fuel guage, take a look at AEM's.
The gauges are 52mm. I ordered off of Ebay and it came with a Pillar. Its called Tinted Gauges. The Oil Gauge is Electrical. If you look at this site, you'll know what they are: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1 . I know how to install the Boost Gauge, but not really sure on the Oil Pressure <---Concerning the Most!! Oh, i didn't know the Air/Fuel is for the Look!

oil pressure is easy - remove oil pressure sender at back of block, install T fitting, put gauge oil pressure sender into T fitting, put stock sender into other part of T fitting, run wiring.
that air fuel ratio gauge is useless - narrowband garbage

boost gauge is easy too, just t off any vaccum line going into the Intake manifold. then for the light youll need to find a light that turns on with the headlight. i just used the one that went to my stock radio since i changed radio and wasnt using that wire anymore.
depends on the gauge. if it uses regular lighting, yes. if the gauge uses LEDs it's doubtful, unless they've designed in some sort of dimming circuit into the gauge.

is it ok to T off using the blow off valve vaccum line?

where do i connect the light source too? i tried the connectors next to fuse, but then the light comes on when my car is on, instead of when i turn my lights on.

you can, although I would recommend using the FPR vacuum line for the boost gauge instead.

you can use the fuse itself. otherwise make sure you're on a switched lighting circuit and not an accessory connector. you could also tap into the wiring for the headlight/marker light circuit directly.
