Default Mini me tonight

SO I am going to do my mini me setup tonight. Should be cake. The question I have is, on my Y7 block, do I need to remove anything from the block for oil gallery? Example:Bolting it all up and going wouldnt seem right, because the feed for oil pressure for vtec comes from real line in block, looks plugged. Should I take that out?

There is no oil jet in y7 blocks only a6/b7 blocks.

Yes obd2 y8 have knock sensors, y7's do not. If you plan on running obd1 then it doesnt matter. But if you plan on running obd2 vtec ecu, then you need to get and wire in a knock sensor to keep from getting a cel.

I have a knock, just thread it in? is the location ready? I've never added one before. Wiring is easy, i have that covered. I know its above oil dummy light switch on back of block.

Yes, you should have removed the oil jet between cylinders 2 and 3 towards the rear

Shouldn't I have a check engine light then, there are at least two codes maybe three that would occur. Also the car fails emmisions, im trying to track down why.
