Default D16y8 engine weight

i was just wondering how much that engine weighs because i am about to buy a engine lift and stand. i need to know asap. thanks in advance

motor 100lbs .. 5spd tranny 60lbs kind of a guess but close

the engine stand is a 1000lbs and the lift is 2 tons

yea i wasnt thinking right. i was reading the numbers for the engine stand thinking that it was for the engine lift.

I'd just put the big *** blower on AFTER the engine is in.
