alternate methods on relieving fuel pressure
i got my b&m fuel pressure guage instead of the stock 12mm banjo bolt on top of the fuel filter and that sucker is on tight .. i never want to loosen the guage again.
my question is that is there another way to relieve fuel pressure besides opening the gas cap then loosening the banjo fuel filter bolt (in my case the b&m guage)?

I believe you're supposed to unplug the fuel pump and crank the car a few times. On my friend's Civic we just removed the fuse that the fuel pump is on (can't remember which one) then cranked it a few times.

All I did was take my gas cap off and I had no problems with fuel spraying out from the extra pressure. Just be sure to wrap a cloth around the fuel filter and over the banjo bolt before you go loosening the bolt. Some fuel does leak out once the bolts off.
Having pressure in the tank is really not much of an issue when relieving pressure in the fuel lines. Cranking the engine with the fuse out is an easy method and many people/shops recommend that. Personally, I think that's the easiest and cleanest method.
