Default exhaust leak - Permatex RED good to use?

Where my 2.25" axleback meets the stock 1.75" b-pipe....constant leaking, after replacing gasket twice. Can i use the high temp red permatex along with the gasket to seal this leak? Will it work? It says its good up to 650 degrees.

you could try but i would guess it would rip since it moves right there.Did you try new bolts and springs?
