im taking the head off of my d16a6 so i can replace the head gasket. Ive taken off the exhaust manifold, the intake manifold, all the valve related stuff, all ten head bolts and all the coolant lines and sensors and wires that go around the head but for some reason it wont come out. i rapped a rag around a pry bar and stuck it in the spark plug hole and tried rocking it off but it wont budge the hole car moves with it. can any one tell me if i missed some thing here?

 

the dowel pins hold it in pretty good. try using a rubber mallet and hit the head at the top to break it loose. its usually tight getting it off but ive never had a real big problem with one.

 

never mind. i stuck a breaker bar between a coolant fitting on the right side and the block and pride it off. Thanks
