Default atGsr Coolant Issue

Hello,
I was driving my gsr today when i noticed it did not reach normal operating temp on the instrument gauge. When i went wot the gauge would go down. But the furthest it would ever reach was 1/4 the way up instead of 1/2 the way.Could this be a temp sensor?T-Stat??Any help is appreciated thanks

Your Thermostat might be shot, do you have heat coming out of your vents or is it cool air? If it takes forever to warm up your tstat is dead. Its a ez fix tho..

mine has never reached half way since I bought it. Only mods I have is SRI, full length headers and full exhaust.

Should the temp on my 95 GSR go to half way? If so, what do I need to do to fix it?

have no heat or A/C issues either.

my heat works awesome...i believe it could be a temp sensor issue.I ordered the part today from honda.I dont believe it is a stuck open t-stat because there is no coolant flowing from the t-stat hose back to the radiator, does this sound correct?

even when My tstat was stuck open it still eventually got to normal operating temperature.

It shouldn't. The needle comes right tho the begining of the picture that is in the middle of the gauge. Like 1/3rd up the gauge.

Well i changed the t-stat for my car today. The car now stays at the beginging of the picture in the middle of the gauge and does not fluctuate. However i noticed my hose was still cold until i shut it off. Then it got warm does this make sence at all?
