Default coolant temp problem

lately ive been having a problem with my coolant temp. after i warm the car up to operating temp the gauge only reads to not even the half way point so it says its reading somewhat cool. although i know that it has to be wrong considering my setup is a gsr boosted at 10 psi. even when i hit full boost the gauge still doesnt even hit the halfway mark. i recently just changed the thermostat and it didnt fix the problem. i was thinking maybe the coolant temp sensor but not sure. anyone with any ideas? it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Rob

This is where your gauge should be for operating temp I believe. Unless I have a colder thermostat. Either way, as long as the heater is blowing out nice hot air and your not overheating. Don't worry about it too much.

If you have a GSR, the thermostat is only a 170 degree f. The half way point is 190 degrees f i believe. That is why it doesnt go half way.

Haha, that A/F gauge is the gayest thing... Well, taillights, but those both came with the car. I'm goina be replacing it with an oil pressure gauge here soon, maybe put a wideband on also.

your thermostat could be stuck open maybe..
my gauge would barely move so i checked the thermostat and it was stuck open .
changed it and now it warms up right away
