If they sound good to you, why does anyone elses opinion matter? Polk = Good ****. If they sound good, buy them.

Probably not even that. You may have to cut the plastic "basket" out of the door panel to gain the depth required to mount them. If you cut and they're still too deep, then yes, spacer rings will be required.

hmm.. im not a fan of polk speakers.
in all honesty i would keep your mb's unless they are ruined.
mb makes a good speaker for the money. what set of mb's are you running?
and are they amped?

i hear ya. just use your current speakers til they no longer satisfy you at all.. or sell the polks you got for free.. make a profit, and buy something you are more familiar with

i hold a special place in my heart for kickpanels. ok...maybe thats a bit extreme but definately make some kicks for whatever speakers you're running.

i feel that a real nice 3-way seperate set.. with woofer in door and mid driver and tweet in kicks is one great idea haha

sure. the q-forms are perfect. i would reinforce them just a little bit.. other people say theyre fine.. the only other setback is the largest driver that fits without modification is a 5.25". good stuff though
