Default Car died, wont start.. CEL Help, With Video..

The car is a 91 Civic STD Hatchback, stock 1.5 dpfi.

Ok, the car was driving fine just cruising on the freeway at 75mph, and then it starting cutting out like it was out of gas, but it didn't die right away it was like that for a little while, maybe like a 1/4 mile There was a little metal to metal noise, then the CEL came on and it died right away (all with-in like 2 sec) and wouldn't start again

After it was towed to my house I checked the little LED on the ECU and it was flashing 10 short flashes. I was reading the FAQ on here and it say it will only flash fast 9 times, anything over that will be long flashes. So I would think it would be one long flash if it was code 10 (IAT), not 10 short flashes.

This is my first time ever looking at this flashing code thing, I'm used to OBD2 where it tells me whats wrong haha. It almost looks like the first two flashes are longer then the rest, but I have never seen a long blink in my life so I have no Idea what it would look like or how much longer it would actually be.

Here's a video of the blinking:

Sorry If this didn't make sense, I'm falling asleep typing this, its been along day

If anyone can help me out that would be cool. Thanks for your time.

ok.. when you frist turn the key on it will flash once indicating it is ok. then it will pause for a second and flash the error codes.

none of our USDM/CDN stock civic/crx's had long/short flashes, just flashes. so count em.

if you saw 10 - 1 for the "ok" flash then that would be 9 = Dist is fubared.

edit: video not working for me, just loads up and black screen,.. i think it's firewalled here @ work.. but wetodd works

update..

I replaced the IAT sensor, and doesnt run. Its getting spark and fuel, timing belt looked ok but didnt really check it out, but it looked brand new.

Compression test showed

#1: 30psi
#2: 60psi
#3: 60psi
#4: 120psi.

I guess the motor is shot, I have a b18 sitting here I need to put in asap.

No Didn't push the throttle during the compression test. Yes the motor was cold.
