If it doesn't cover the lugs, it's useless.

Also you'll need one on each end of the car. If towing is what you're worried about... thieves are not shy about dragging one end of the car up on a flat bed, even if it's the drive end.

what is that?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Mr. Shoe is the one who keeps pointing people in the right direction as far as layered security goes. bah most listen when its too late. security should be the first thing you add to any car before the blingage,,, most want to look cool first then keeping their cars safe.... dont let your insurance company gauge what your car is worth, because they could careless. so take the time to spend money layering it.. you can keep any car safe. you cant stop them from breaking into the car, but you can keep them from taking it from you. but only if you have the time to keep it yours. most dont.

dont bother with the alpha locks... will it slow some thiefs down? yes,, but using common sense you can see where it can be defeated.

1. if you take the air out of the tire. you can create enough movement within the device to then pry it off the rim... thiefs only need a breaker bar to create leverage and its off the rim.. whats a little scratch on a rim for the thiefs anyway.. they want the car. metal is thin which helps it bend off any rim.

2. if you have ever had this device in your hand you can feel how thin the metal used is on the device.. hint.. bashing in the key socket will make the two parts come &gt;&gt;. apart &gt;&gt;&gt;cheap yes.. but look how much you paid for it...

3. look at the cost.....you really think this massed produced item is for security reasons or for profits? this goes back to the thin metal used. yea it looks hefty in pictures but once in hand you can feel how cheap it is. this device is just as good as the autolock key&gt;&gt; autolock alphalock....hummmm both start with a, both have lock in the second part of the name, both parts are defeatable....hummmm

.

stick with what the government uses.... click on my name. then go to mitico.com

and remember you get what you pay for.

ok... im tired sleepy time...
