I have a 5 spd 94 integra ls /new automatic engine/how to swap
I was wondering how difficult it would be to put an automatic trans/engine into a 5spd car. Is it just taking the trans from the engine or is there more to it than that? I want to keep the manual trans. I have both cars completely intact so parts should not be a problem. Any help is appreciated.

as long as your new engine is of the same series it will bolt right up no problem.
any b-series tranny will bolt to any b-series motor.
if you plan on switching tranny's note if its cable or hydro b4 making decisions

i just switch mine from auto to manual and it was hard!! but manual to auto should be a piece of cake. u dont have as much required parts. all u need is ecu, axals, tranny mount, tranny ( possibly with the motor, cuz it would be more reliable), pedals, gauges. also a 94 ls would have a hydro tranny, they stop making cable trannys in 93 or somthin.
I definately think you could, it may just take a while if youre not mechanically inclined. Also, if you live in a subdivision home owners(if you have it) may get pissed off or whatever. But yeah, you could, itll just take some time.
