Default hondata

if i was to buy a used hondata s200 system would the basemap have to be changed and are they changeable? and would a car with i\h\e and intake manifold be worth tuning? or would it be better to wait for a cam? i have the money to afford a hondata and to chip my ecu but not enough for a full cam swap with retainers\valvesprings\cam gear\ cam. this is on a d16z6

I/H/E is not worth tuning, and hondata is not worth the money anyway.

well in your opinion. neptune is a great option as well.

or you could go the cheaper route and go with uberdata or crome or something. way cheaper.

Crome is better and cheaper, in my opinion, and most tuners would agree I think. Why pay hondata to hoarde information? Hell, they can hardly keep up with crome, and it's free.

Learn to tune crome yourself, you'll fall in love.

Well, software is free. Laptop would not be, mehbe like 100 I spose. But you would also be the only tuner on the block, , and yeah, I doubt you'll see much for those mods.

PM drdisco69 for his professional opinion as a tuner, he'll also chip your ecu for crome or hondata or whatev.
