Default Where to attach aftermarket FPR?

I am preparing to do my swap and need some ideas/suggestions where to attach an aftermarket FPR. Do I just run the lines like the stock set-up, except bolt the fpr to the firewall somewhere and extend the lines? Any effect on performance with more tubing?

BTW....FPR is som oil-filled (adjustable) gauge from Singapore....I have pics if anyone wants to see.

The adjustable fuel pressure regulator should attach where the old one was.........

Not true my cars stock FPR is on the rail, this aftermarket one is prolly gonna have to be bolted to the firewall or somewhere on the wall of the engine bay. I say as close to the original location as possible. Good Luck

yeah, the stock FPR right now is on the rail...this thing is not able to be mounted on the rail...there is an adapter that attaches there from the FPR....

I thought I saved the email here, but I guess the only pic I have is at work on my desktop. Will post tomorrow to show you.

There is a bracket on the side you cannot see, that will mount easily, just want to make sure the extra hose length won't affect performance.

look at your fuel rail. on one end there will be a little saucer-looking object attached. that's the stock fpr.

Assuming you bought something like the $40 B&M regulator, it's return line, just like your stock one. just replace it.

if you spent a lot of money and bought an inline regulator, that's a different story. what exactly did you get?

are you talking about a fuel pressure _gague_? that's different from a fpr (fuel pressure _regulator_).

The one he bought , I am sure, is actually a FPR and guage in one. Came off ebay for like $30 shipped. My brother bought one.

No the extra hose length wont affect performance. If you are so worried about it, just some of it off until it fits?
