Default Crooked Momo Wheel

I just got a Momo wheel installed in my 2000 SI. The guy that installed it said that it would sit somewhat crooked even if the wheels were pointing straight. He said it was because the Momo hub dont usually line up exactly with the steering column. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. Once again when the car is in park and the front wheels are pointing straight ahead the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left. Is there any way to fix it?

One other question. Is it is possible to still have a horn with a quck relase installed? I heard that it is impossible to have it work with a USDM civic becase of the way that the contact plates.

any responses are greatly appreciated

yeah I had that problem once I just took the hub off and turned it opposite the way it was sitting and it fixed everything. So just take the hub off and turn it one hole to the right and you should be alright.

You can always straighten the steering column out, or take it to alignment place to have it corrected.

As for the horn. You can have a working horn. The only factor is you have to strip the second to the left wire from the ABS ribbon cable. That is your horn wire. Just solder a wire to that, connecting it to the hub.

And you'll have to fab up a wire (like paperclip or something) that makes contact with the plate on the hub, and that will ground the horn when you press on the horn button.

Good luck.
