Default Carbon Fiber Hood?

Hey wassup guys I have a question about my carbon fiber hood, I just purchased it and I recieved it today. I totally forgot what I needed in order to instal the hood. I was just wondering how I could uninstall my stock hood from my 02 Accord EX V6. If there is any shortcuts I can do please help cause I really want to install my hood. Also I was wondering where I could get that center piece on my hood that goes into my latch? Thanks Guys!!

in that case, care should be taken when installing the factory parts such as hinges, struts, etc to ensure that it does not crack.

if it's from a good source like VIS, carbonimage, all the holes should be marked and pre-drilled.

my vis hood was all drilled and installing it was a bolt on affair(2x bolt on each hinges)

don't forget to get a hood pins

As rice as they are, these are a must. I've had 3 friends of mine wreck they're windshields and roof skins due to broken latches.

your non-factual issue have no impact at all.

do you mean BLACK? they do make ricer blue pins

i suppose you can but if you work on your car/pop open hood as often as me, those spray ain't gonna last. Powercoating and anodizing is too expensive.

you didn't offended me, i don't get my feeling hurt over the internet.

first thing first, i was asking you to explain why you think using a safely device such as a hood pins would be a bad idea.

i have offered my reason for why anyone have cf hood should have hoodpins(or anyother safely device that prevent it from flying off).
it's a solution to a problem, it's not a non-factual issus(or in your word, opinion). again, i am not asking everyong to like hoodpin, i am offering my reason why i have my pin when i got my hood.

if you think i am wrong, please enlighten and enrich my knowledge, because all you did so far is saying something without any form of premise to support your claim.(or in simple college english term, misplace burden of proof or perhaps begging the question fallacy)
