A clutch can just go out anytime. like with mine I was driving down the road and it poped out of gear and when I try to go into gear it was hard as hell when I pull the tranny one of the spring on the disc had popped out.

Also check your tranny fluid I had this happen to a friend of mine he woke up one day and had to force his car into gear. When we did his clutch swap there wasnt any Tranny fluid in his tranny but his clutch was still fine. so we poor some Fluid in and put the tranny back and he was able to shift into gear but the tranny is still kind of messed up.

I had a friend check it out.
there is very little pressure on the pedel when i go to shift gears
it is still shifting some what, but my friend said it was the master cylinder because it wasnt keeping the pressure in.

what should i expect to pay for that?

oh and the 380 i mentioned------ i called again cause it seemd odd-- they miss quoted me (F****'s)

is your pedal really soft? usually if you drove it the day before and won't go into gear the next day then you probably got a : leak; bad master cyl; slave cyl; low tranny fliud could also be due too cold weather. look under your car for clear or brown/black fluid.

Yep, you are going to need a master cylinder. I would replace the slave cylinder also.

time to replace the sylinder! its not that hard, just a time consuming kind of thing. helps if you have a friend when you bleed the system.
