d16y8 manifold
del sol manual transmisson

mitsu intercooler
stock z6 pistons
z6 oil pan and girdle
dohc zc head
150-shot nitrous oxide
z6 oil pick-up
is it all compatible?

it gunna go boom idgaf about this engine i bought a shell and i want to drive it and bam in the back of school i found an engine donated but useless to train kids on so im going to make it fast until sumthing goes wrong then fix that u know like owning a muscle car drive until sumthing goes wrong then rebuild lool
no, that head will not bolt up to the block without some modifications.......The oil holes and stuff don't quite line up......probably not even worth it if you figured out how to do it. I think the DOHC zc makes around the same power as a z6 anyaways. Just take the same money, build the z6 and put some boost, unless you want to save an swap the motor out for one that actually comes in a DOHC.
we had a civic gt at are autotech class but it wasnt a turbo one someone got the hinges off of it to make a reverse hood open.
if i were you i would build the car make it run and sell it for like 1500
and keep doing it. that was my plan but my local junkyard that sold good shells for a reasonable price disapeared.
I did it because D-series are so easy to come by.

Your "dream setup" sucks. Del Sol's have tons of transmission options, you don't list a block, you list a "cx moddded exhaust manifold with turbo flange welded on" but don't mention a turbo of any kind and you actually want to use a Mitsubishi intercooler. Hmmmm.
Maybe it's time for you to read a thread or two.

even with major modifications, the DOHC zc head will never fit on the d16z6 head. thats because the d16z6 is SOHC. there is a huge difference between SOHC and DOHC. why would you want to put on a NON-vtec head ontop a VTEC block?

I know they told you that you had to ride the short bus cause the big one was full, but you really need to seek professional help.

Actually, there is a way to get the DOHC ZC head to fit on the SOHC VTEC block. Someone here did it. He had to do something Mickey Mouse to a couple coolant passages and I don't remember how he ended up timing the thing (or what belt he used for that matter).
I'm not opposed to being creative, but there's a different between creativity for a benefit and creativity for its own sake. This would fall under the second heading. Not only are you going to lose power, but you're going to completely ditch reliability and make repairing the frankenstein nearly impossible.
But if you search, you will find the thread I'm talking about. I think the guy who started/did it was called "baseballinmyass" or some ****. Feel free to look.
But I think he was banned...
