Default zc engine or d16z6

i am wanting to add power to my car i have a 91 civic hb si and i was wondering if i should put a d16z6 or d16y8 head on my engine or if i should just do a zc swap. which one has more potential?

instead of buying a whole z6 or y8 motor you could just put a vtec head on your motor. either a z6 or y8 head.

I have a ZC in my CRX, my freind had one in his hatch, he sold his hatch and got a CRX with a SOHC VTEC... Stock vs stock I think a ZC pulls it a little bit. His SOHC VTEC has R Active intake, JG header, and custom exahust, its pretty tight. His pulls harder than my ZC did before it blew, and I havnt been able to get on my new ZC yet...

z6 power ...zc cheaper? i got my z6 motor, tranny and p28 for less then 500 ..and all he wants to do is swap heads
