Chunk of fire shot out of my intake manifold... Help =/

Default Chunk of fire shot out of my intake manifold... Help =/

Well i just put this motor together dropped it in my si last night I started it up and it started fine. I went to start it again this morning it would turn over but not quite fire up so I went down and got gas in case that was the problem that didnt help. So It tried to hot wire it off of the started to see if its getting spark and chunk of something that was red hot flew out of my intake manifold.. Anyone got any suggestoins

how can anything fly "out" the intake manifold? *scratches head*

it was like a chunk of fire I guess you could call it an amber?.. I suppose it flew out my throttle bottle not my intake manifold.

Did u check if there was anything in there before u fired it up? Take off you manifold and take a look there might be something living in there..j/k No but searious look inside the runners.

You propably flooded it and when it finally fired the fuel still hadent completly burned off when the intake valve opened causeing it to go out your intake.
