Check your pump fuse. It should be a 10 amp fuse. If the previous owner put lets say a 15 amp fuse then when the pump messed up it would cause the wires to melt and burn etc. So check that fuse and replace as nessary. If you dont got a fuel pump fuse then check the relay. Hope that helps

Check what voltage you get out of your battery. Should be 12.7 ish and 14.7 ish when on. When it does the doesnt start thingy does it crank over or is it just silent?

Here is the proceedure for checking fuel pump. Get a buddy to turn your car on not Start just to on. While you have the gas cap off and are listening. There shoudl be a whirl as it presurizes the gas tank. Also check that all your injectors are in the holes maybe one poped out providing harsh vacum leeks or something.

That is good that means it wont be a 400 dollar fuel pump hehe. Well there is a set of fuses in the fuse panel and under the hood on passengers side in a black U shaped case. Pop open that case and check all fuses including the main fuse. Also check all fuses in the incar fuse panel. Do you hear any clicking noise when you try starting the car coming from your fuse panel. You would be able to hear this clicking noise with the doors shut and radio off. If you do then its your fuel pump relay.

Just by pulling hose fuses and checking them might fix your problem even if you dont find a blown fuse cause it will reset your ECU which might help. Some of the fuses you have to undo two screws to get them out. Rememer just pull one fuse at a time so you dont mix them up.
