Default LSD Tranny, Axels, and clutch for JDM B18C sir Del Sol

im starting in on my del sol and looking at some options. i know that i want to get an lsd tranny. i just don't get the traction i want on the streets. so i need to know what are my options for trannies in a 93 del sol with a jdm B18C sir swap? i want to keep everything working on the engine including ac and powersteering. i plan on doing a little racing on the track but mostly on the street.

my next thing is what can i get for axels. i want to run slicks on the track without breaking anything. will new axels be needed?

i figure i might as well change the clutch while i am at it.. again.. what are my options and what are your suggestions. something that will stand up.

pictures and more info on the car and setup can be found here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2218149

thanks again for all your expert help.. im just getting into the whole jdm to us change in parts. not to mention what will fit in a whole different model of car than what the engine was made for.. so confusing

get a type r tranny w/ lsd or a b16 tranny w/ or w/o lsd, you can always add the lsd.

i don't recommend racing on the streets.

how much hp/tq are putting to the wheels that you break axles ? if you are 200 hp or less, stock axles should be fine.

as for a clutch, depending on what type of driving you're doing there are many options, "racing" type clutches or clutch kits are available worldwide.

good luck

yea. am i going to have problems with anything fitting?? im more studied on the engine mechanics than anything else. i was hopeing someone could give me like a part number of what i should get for the tranny. i think they vary.

i read the axels thing somewhere. that it is common to break stock axels with slicks.

i plan on turboing the engine out sometime.. small turbo.. nothing serious as this is my daily driver. and that won't be anytime soon cause i only make $8 an hour.. lol..

im just trying to keep the project going.. and i think the tranny and clutch is the next step.

so more details please.

also.. i live in rual america.. south dakota.. it isn't really street racing.. it is 1 on 1 with no cars for like 15 miles....
you can seriously drive for an hour and not see a car where i live.... it is that remote and sucky..

hope you can point me in the right direction
