Default HEAT!!!

I did the b16A swap into my 90 CRX DX and runs great, but when I turn on the heat all that blows out is cold air. And the temperature gauge only goes up when the car is just sitting at an idle the faster I go the colder the air that comes out of the vents... I need heat its like 10 degrees outside so I freeze my ***** off. Does anybody know whats wrong?

Replace the thermostat. Sounds like it is stuck open or not there at all.

Put a new thermostat in, they are really cheap. Also make sure its not air locked! When your filling it back up with coolant, open the bleeder screw and let the car idle till no bubbles come out.

did you hook the hoses up to the firewall properly?

ive experienced your problem alot fixing different cars... and what the guys said is right, the thermostat is either shut, or you have air in the system, wich means either the thermostat is stuck not letting you fill enuf water, or you dont have enuf water in the system because you didnt add enuf (i know it sounds like i repeated myself, but read it again), so like they said, check the thermostat and bleed the system. the bleed is a 12mm on the top of the thermostat housing

if you dont want to worry about the thermostat, drill a little bleed hole in it, like 1/8" or so then put it back in

I opened the valve and coolant came out... but no heat still. Do you think I should just change the thermostat?
