whats the difference between HX and EX?
not like the trim or features....im talking about the transmissions?
the HXs have a continously variable transmission correct?
well whats the difference in the mechanics when compared to the trannys of the EX?
the reason i ask is because ill be traveling more this summer and my HX tranny gets like hot or something and the gears stop catching and the rpms will go but the car wont. i just want to substitute it for a more strong or dependable one

yeah if your HX is auto then it has a CVT...if i'm notmistaken honda has a lifetime warranty on those...if not, switching to an EX manual or auto is going to involve probably a full harness swap, a torque converter, ECu and a bunch of other misc stuff.......good luck
