Default 2 questions on B16A wiring

1. Does the B16A/PWO/PR3 not have a ELD (Electrical Load Detector)?
2. What happens to the ECT switch (located in the thermostat cover)?

Yes, in Japan there was no ELD system. As for the ECT switch by the thermostat...?????. The only switch by the thermostat I know of is on second and third gen B16's, in which case, you wouldn't need to use that.

I did a 94 LS swap into my car and that thermo switch had to be used because there wasn't one on the back of the block. It's really easy to do just use the wires that would go to the one on the back of the block. IT doesn't matter if which way they go on because it's an on/off switch. Just get a plug from a 94+ teg or even a 94 + civic. As for the B16 wiring I just did one yesterday and it works just fine. No need for the ELD unit.
