I got my cluster in finally (have been running old DX auto cluster on my new B16 swap, no tach, LOL) and ordered it from ICB Motorsports /// JDM Land.

Fine condition and all, but it doesnt light up at the end of tach (4k+) and beginning of speed. The tach needle is dim, and the tops of the temp and gas gauges are dim too, so I figured it was just bulbs, and pulled it right back out after testing.

The bulbs for these spots were blown, or looked like it. Insides were all black residue.

I read in another thread they are automotive bulbs #24, size or whatever. Is that EVERY SINGLE ONE? Because I pulled a couple out of the USDM DX cluster, and they had a smaller bulb housing and such. Still the same?

Basically, if I go buy a bunch of these #24 bulbs or whatever, should I be good with just replacing them into the spots where they were blown? or is something worse at hand.

 

Just transfer them over from your DX cluster or buy those bulbs from an automotive store. You can put all of the larger bulbs. I did that with my EG6 cluster. No overheating or anything.

 

Most of the auto cluster ones were blown too, LOL... so I might have to buy new ones.
