corner light help

Default corner light help

i got one quick question is there a diffence in the corner lights for the 88-89 hatch and the 90-91 hatch? yes i searched and didnt find anything thanks alot

You notice that the 88-89 corner lights have the screws exposed,while the 90-91 has the screws hidden..

88-89



90-91

there is a screw but it's hidden.

All you had to do was search Ebay. The only differences as stated before, is how they are mounted. 88-89 uses Screws, 90-91 Uses Clips/sliders.

90-91 are way gooder then the 88-99

^grand junction...isn't that by winter park?

I do beleive with different fenders and headlight assembly you can make the 90-91 fit if you use 90-91 fenders/headlight assemblies...kind of a gay swap, but no screws is nicer looking.

Winter park is 3 1/2 hours away from Grand Junction.

You dont need the fenders. All you have to do is swap out the headlights. I did this on my 88 as it came with a spare set of 91 headlights when I bought it.

I believe it is the headlight "baskets" that you have to replace....not sure if the 88-89 headlights will fit into a 90-91 basket (which would accept 90-91 corners).
