strange: car working for a good month and now won't start!

strange: car working for a good month and now won't start!
the car was running all day today..
now it won't even crank.
strangly the voltmeter reads 12 volts when key is in the I and II position..
any ideaS?

i think some cables are loose..
the car was on the street and it was dark.. i started fiddling with the grounds and wires going to the starter and now it works lol

probably a ground issue. Seems like you sorta figured it out. Same thing happened to me at a gas station last summer. Car ran fine for months, even to the second I turned it off to pump gas. When I got back in, nothing...no dummy lights, no power...just nothing. I played with the ground and eventually it started, regrounded it, and it was fine since. (well, until I blew the motor lol)
