I drive a 95 integra LS.
So last night, the car started up normally. I wasn;t going anywhere with the car, just started up to move it back a little since someone parked too close in front of me. It rained pretty badly last night and got pretty cold. This morning I went out to start up the car but it wouldn't start. The car cranks and all the accessories work when in the ON position. What could be the problem? First thing that came to me was the starter but I want to rule out all possibllities before i start ripping things out.

 

well, if your car cranks, i wouldn't think its the starter. i gotta ask, is there gas in the car?

 

yea, after talking with my pops, last night i also realized it wasn't the starter. very sorry, i left out something important I noticed before. As i was cranking, there was a strong gas smell. I checked for leaks under the car but nothing. The gauge on the cluster says theres 1/4 of a tank left.

This morning I tried to start up the car, but stepped on the gas pedal just a little bit, and the car started up.
If anyone knows what was wrong, please let me know so it doesn't become a problem again. My pops believes the fuel pump may be messed up. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
