Default Help I'm a noob

Ok so I'm a noob, I admit to it. Now, I own a 1991 civic DX and planning on boosting it. I'm looking into having v-tec also, so I was considering a 1992-1999 engine, D16, but I don't know if I should. Also I have a 1990 CRX engine, with tranny just freshly rebuilt. Do I keep that one, take it apart, and put some better internals and boost it, or do I swap heads, for a VTEC one? Which way would be easier, and what should I do with the ECU?

Thanks

id say its pretty easy to turbo... http://www.homemadeturbo.com

what engine is the crx engine you have?

yes you would need a d16z6 head, or d16y8 head for a vtec swap. i have a complete z6 head for sale if you want it.

your best bet is to match the ecu to the motor although you will probably wind up getting it chipped if you go turbo. find out what motor you have and let us know.
