I have a 1990 CRX with a 1992 CIVIC EX 1.6L V-TEC swap. I bought the car like this so i didnt do th swap. The swap didnt come with a new intake manifold (upgraded, i still have DPFI not MPFI) and that makes me think my distrubitor may be from the old engine too. Well my problem is my timing is off, the ditrubitor doesnt mount all three spokes to the three spokes on the head, sooner or later i am putting in the MPFI Manifold. Can someone tell me a distrubitor to use on this motor for this kind of swap???

 

first off. look on the block stamp and c if it says d16z6. you will need a distributer for that motor. 1992-1995 vtec distributer. but first u need to buy a ecu jumper harness to convert to obd1,also the jumper harness for the distributer. even before this, u need to convert to mpfi. and yes the mani to.
