Default is the bilstein HD or SP strut better?

Anyone know the difference between the 2? I see they only make the SP for the type R? Is the HD or SP strut better? thanks

I understand that HD(heavy duty) is for normal height springs. Sp(sport) is for shortened springs, so the eye to eye length is shorter than HD. the internal valving is supposed to be the same. That's what I read/heard when I did research while owning BMWs. I would think the same applies for Honda/Acura. The R, having shorter than "regular" springs, by 3/4", gets the SP designation. anyone know differently? hth

yup, the sp is for the R because of the shorter spring.. ( just like having lowering springs ). So there for the SP is what you would want to get..

i ordered it from a good friend that owns a local shop and it ran me almost 400. I believe they cost more than that, but thats how much I got them for.
